Democrats seem to dominate Newsvine.

Would you say democrats dominate Newsvine opinions, posts and articles? It appears they do and some are rude, argumentative and obnoxious using slang words to insult people with different political philosophies. This is one of the reasons I dumped the affiliation democrat and labeled myself as an independent or un-enrolled voter. It is a shame people can't discuss political subjects without attacking or falling victim to personal attacks or derogatory comments. Comments such as stupid idiot, you idiot, teanuts, teabaggers, nut, dumb, and moron. Those are some of the words used to intimidate and belittle others. Intimidation is a form of bullying. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion whether we agree with it or not and we don't have the right to belittle them because we disagree.  It is acting like a toddler having a temper tantrum needing to get the last word in. If this type of behavior signifies party mentality then I am happy I'm not a affiliated with democrats or republicans. I am proud to say I try to look at different political points of view objectively and don't resort to personal attacks if I disagree. I believe, if the rest of the country did the same America would be in a different place. It is called compromise and the ability to work together for a common cause, our country. If our members of congress had the intellectual ability to work together for the common cause, the citizens of the United States, I feel America would be in a different situation.
