Over the past year I've read hundreds of articles published on Newsvine, articles that were written by different members and I hope Newsvine members don't express the true mentality of the American people. If it does, we are all screwed? Democrats seem to dominate the Vine, many are ill-mannered, rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. Some are hateful individuals spewing vile comments and articles. Do you honestly expect people to move on when this type of activity has become common practice? It causes anger and retaliation. I personally don't care if you don't like what I have to say or if you are insulted by it as far as I am concerned, it is the truth. Just look over the Vine, read some of the articles, and you will see it's true. Simply try to prove that I am wrong.

Many attack those with different ideologies leaving vile comments, if this behavior shows the mentality of the members of congress no wonder they can't work together, resolve their differences, and help the American people. I hope congress doesn't have this mentality, if so, good luck America.

A part of me hopes the republicans hold their ground forcing a fiscal cliff even though it would undeniably hurt our country and our economy. Sometimes lessons have to be learned before people are able to move forward.
